Why can’t I order glass on my frames?

Due to the fragility of glass and the delivery processes, we cannot guarantee that your frames will arrive undamaged. We use acrylic for our frames.

However, if you would like standard glass or UV anti-reflection glass used on your frames, this option is available for our Gold Coast, Ashmore INSTORE PICK UP clients only.

The frame colours appear different to what I have received, what now?

While we make every effort to make sure our colours and frames are represented accurately online, some colour variations from batch to batch may occur.

In our ASH wood range it is important to remember the following:
a) Ash is a natural timber and variations in the wood patterning and colours will occur
b) We stain the wood by hand which may result in slight colour variations
c) While variations in texture and colour are possible, we will do our best to make sure the frames contained in your set match as closely as possible.

It is less likely for colour and texture variations to occur in our modern black and white frames or our champage ornate and metallic frames. However, if you are experiencing any issues, please take some photos of your frame issues and give us a call so we can assist you as soon as possible.

Also remember, colours may vary from screen to screen online. As not all digital screens are equally calibrated, some variation in colour, lightness and darkness (depending on your computer, laptop, ipad or mobile phone screen), will occur.

My photos have been taken on my mobile phone, call I still use them?

In most cases, yes we can! However we recommend you avoid using special apps to edit these photos. Some apps will reduce the file size and quality of your images. If you are editing the images on your phone, please use an app that allows you to retain the original image resolution and size.

Also remember, if you have shared these photos between apps or messages, those apps can also decrease the size of an image. It is best to email the ORIGINAL IMAGE FROM THE ORIGINAL mobile phone that the photo was taken from. You can also alternatively copy the image off of your phone onto a computer with a USB/USB-C cable before emailing the image to us.

Also ensure when emailing the images that the images are “attached as files” and not dragged and dropped into the body of the message. This may also decrease the file size.

What type of printer do you use?

We use a professional grade, commercial large format printer: Epson Surecolor p20070. It produces durable, ultra-high resolution imagery.
